Don't like the CDPA? Vent your spleen here

SABIP, the Strategic Advisory Board for Intellectual Property Policy in the UK, has put out a Tweet to the effect that it wants to hear from you on one of its forums as to what you think of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. If you want to tell SABIP that this is the most chaotic piece of intellectual property legislation in force anywhere in the world, with (i) a multiplicity of definition sections, (ii) a separate section that lists the addresses of definitions not contained in the definition sections, (iii) vast chunks of amended legislation tacked on with peculiar section numbers that can be easily misunderstood over the phone, (iv) user-unfriendly transitional provisions that could really benefit from accompanying flow-charts and (v) swathes of Statutory Instruments that you need if you want to work out what the law really is, then this is your chance.
