Some forthcoming attractions

Enrico Bonadio is organizing two IP-related seminars at the City Law School, on 2 April and 7 May 2014 respectively.

In the first, Dr Maria Mercedes Frabboni (University of Sussex) features in "Hot off the Press: the Collective Management Directive" (1.00pm - 3.00pm, Wednesday 2 April 2014 at the City University London, College Building, Room AG02, St John Street EC1V 4PB London. The Publishers Licensing Society (PLS) has announced that the 2014 Charles Clark Memorial Lecture will be held at this years' London Book Fair. The speaker is Shira Perlmutter (the Chief Policy Officer & Director for International Affairs at the US Patent and Trademark Office) and her title is provisionally titled 'Copyright Revisions on both sides of the Atlantic'. The date and time: Wednesday 9 April 2014, 4pm, followed by a drinks reception from 5pm. The venue: London Book Fair - Earls Court Conference Centre - Room 1. You can book a place by emailing events@pls.org.uk 

Warning: admittance to the lecture is free but admittance to the London Book Fair is not. To be admitted to the lecture you will also need to pre-register for the London Book Fair at www.londonbookfair.co.uk. Since Shira's talk is open to all LBF delegates, the PLS recommends that you arrive in good time to secure a place.
